I do not know how our Städtetour would have gone to Rome if we had not had a Rome passport. No Italian reading at the ticket counter, just get on and go. So it was the next days, whether metro, bus or tram, show map and finished. Just as easy and past the serpents we came to the Vatican, the Coloseum, the Roman Forum ... This time saving does not have to stand with the masses in a queue, no one can pay, because one would like as much as possible from this beautiful City. If you consider this, the price of the Rome City Pass is worthwhile and for me a must.
With the 3-day Rome City Pass, we were able to visit the most famous sights, such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Castle of the Holy Angel, relatively quickly. At the Vatican Museums, you had to pre-specify the day and time. Since the time moved, I could easily call and change to another day. The city tour was also very informative.
Great. We were able to pass all the lines and had immediate entry. Buses and trains, as well as subways no problem. Always recommendable.
What a great pass to skip the line at the Colosseum & Vatican! Also included is the public transportation card, this made it very easy to get around the city. Also the bus tour was very informative - we really enjoyed it.
For those who have not seen the most visited sights like the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Engelsburg (...), the pass is worth a visit. Already at 9 in the morning the queue to the Vatican was so long that we probably would have waited until we had been at the entrance. This time-saving for all the activities included was really worth the pass. We were able to pass the queues without waiting. Nice was the city tour and the free use of public transport, although these were not expensive. The city tour is for a first taste "quite nice", but also not outstanding. The variety of museums, which are included in the pass also free of charge, we could not take advantage of. If you want to visit only one or two sights with a privileged inlet, book this one individually. We would however for a first city visit 100% the passport recommend and would buy for other urban irons this again.
Very practical thing, you do not have to worry about anything. The Vatican Museum on the serpent was great, but it is still full. There are many nice corners if you do not follow the torrents of the tourists. Also outside the city.
The only criticism i have is when i picked up my passes from the location near the Vatican, the sales person just gave them to me without any instructions and just kept telling me to read the booklet.
So not sure what actually was included with the pass. But my Vatican ticket was for 11am i wish i could have chosen my time as i would have gone a bit earlier.
But it was wonderful and I saved so much time, as I really only had a day and a half in Rome. Used the buses a lot and the underground. I managed to see the colosseum, the Vatican the forum i would have preferred to have been able to hop on and hop off the tour bus rather than only one trip. that way I could have combined the bus with the sights. But the tour bus is definitely a must. especially since the weather was so lovely.
The pass allows for an uncomplicated and very fast entry into most main attractions. Therefore quite clear 5 stars! For the HoppOn-HoppOff bus, you must first obtain a receipt from a branch office. For me incomprehensible. Likewise, I do not understand that the return flights from the airport are not included in the pass. This is pointed out fairly, but only on receipt of the passport. Otherwise a complete carefree package, which is however expensive bought. If you buy the tickets of the sights before individually in the www, you can save a lot. And can also pass the snakes in front of the coffers. These were long with our visit with well over two hours waiting time. Public transport can also be purchased at a lower price. Conclusion: Comfortable, but expensive!
The Rome Pass was great, we fully used it. Only a bit tedious were the points of contact to use e.g. the city tour. But thanks to some Romans, we have found everything without problem. Rome is well worth a visit.
We can only say good things about our trip. It was nice to pass the queues. Driving with the trains was also without any problems. We can only recommend the pass.
You can easily walk past the hundreds of people waiting and use the separate entrances. This saves a few hours of time.
The processing in advance worked perfectly. The information on the destination were compactly prepared and helpful. When using all the services included, the package is unbeatable. The Turbopass also pays off when only a few services are used. We would definitely buy it again!
Everything went well, as recommended we first went to the Roman Forum and then to the Colosseum, where the queue was short, as everybody already hat their tickets and the queue with Rome City Pass then is the same and one longer pending. For metro and bus the card is also very practically as the machines are not self-explanatory. City tour was not so good, but you get a small geographical overview. Overall anytime again.
We stayed in April 2017 for two in Rome. The City Pass has already paid off, because you have to stop at many sights - that saves several hours! The use of public transport is also worthwhile. We are usually driven by subway because it is fast. Twice we have also made "city tours" by bus and tram. We have visited Rome, Madrid, Paris and London with the City Pass and it has paid off every time.

We did not regret the Rome City Pass, you have so many advantages as you can see on the website already. Goofy was only the fact that a lot of things are with free admission on the first Sunday of the month anyway. BUT the queues are enormous, you can skip them with the pass. For the Vatican alone the pass was worth it as the queue was extremely long, waiting time estimated 4h. In the Roman Forum you had no preferential entry but there are several entries which you can use and thus also enormously save time. Every employee at the sights knows this pass and can help with questions. The bus tour was also great, in many languages, and if you remain sitting, you can directly head to the first destination and thus save the journey by subway. I would buy a pass for any city again, even when they seem expensive at first sight. In the end it is really worth it.
We were in March for 4 days in Rome and have booked the Turbo Pass Rome for 3 days. I must say that this time of year in Rome very much tourists were traveling. We had the Rome City Pass for 3 days. He was promptly delivered, the information in the booklet are informative and correct (eg where to get the tickets for the bus tour). The best thing about the pass is that you (except for security checks) can go to the attractions past the crowds without waiting and ultimately also saves a few bucks on admissions. Highly recommended!
Perfect to skip the long queues. It was worth it. The travel advice were good and the restaurants recommended were very good, too. We would use the pass again.
