Turbopass is a must in Rome. We purchased the 3 day pass and it was perfect for out trip and it saved us money in the end. The best thing about Turbopass is skipping lines. Which is a must at most of the major tourist attractions, especially The Vatican and Colosseum. The only negative thing we found with this pass is the Hop on Hop Off Bus. Pretty sure we did not see one the entire time we were there, so do not purchase this pass if you are hoping to do that.
Had the pass for 3 days and lost it at the end of the second. :-( create my tip account and get passport as a mobile ticket! Then replacement on mobile phone possible !!! We were lucky and could Daniela the bus driver of the "hop on hop off bus" get our roma card again! Great !! The almost lane worked great on Colloseum and Vatican! The side exit in the Sistine Chapel on the right exists and actually brings you directly to the cathedral !!! We enjoyed the food at Don Carlos Barberini Platz on the top of the terrace! We were in Rome for four days and took the 72 pass. We have to use the admissions for the Colosseum (including Roman Forum and Palatine) and the Castel Sant'Angelo. The hop on off tour was fine too. In the competition, there are shorter intervals, but we have rarely had to wait. By and large in the passport okay. If you want to do everything in one go. Otherwise you should buy the things individually. But we will do it again.
We had the 6 day City Pass and were really satisfied. Especially with the well-known attractions such as the Colosseo or the Roman Forum we passed much faster because we did not have to wait in line. One day we spent in Ostia by the sea, just to escape the turmoil a little. With our next city trip gladly again!
Really great. We saved money and a lot of time. Unfortunately, no guides in there. Highly recommended!
Maybe it would be a suggestion that you can also go to St. Peter's Cathedral by the snake!
With the Rom Pass you can start immediately without having to worry about tickets. However, you still have to pass through the security controls, z. B. take a long time at the Colosseum. There was no preferred entrance at the Roman Forum, but you can enter it a bit faster through a side entrance. In the Vatican, there are apparently no limitations on how many people are admitted. The crowds pushing through the corridors towards Sistine Cables are unspeakable. St. Peter's Basilica is impressive and worth a visit. I would dispense with the Colosseum and the Vatican and prefer to book in advance the entrance to the Villa Borghese, there is nothing spontaneous and slots will be awarded. The Castel Sant'Angelo is very beautiful and you have a great view over Rome.
The online order worked very easy and the passports arrived quickly by mail. The 3-day pass was well worth it for us, if you do not expect in money, but in time. It is very pleasant to get "past the snakes" to the Colosseum and the Vatican. But you have to read it carefully, because apart from the Colosseum and the Vatican there is only one museum left. In our case, the Castel Sant'Angelo and we were thrilled. If you lived like us, just outside the center, then you are looking forward to the free ride. All in all we were very satisfied.
To be recommended, as the waiting times at the ticket offices are bypassed and most attractions are included.
Good pass, which could be variably used for the beginning of the 72 hours.
Really recommended to avoid long queuing. Also very convenient for the metro, you can just go back and forth without constantly having to solve new tickets.
We had the Rome City Pass and were quite satisfied, especially the preferred entry into the sights / museums is for people who want to save time or have to really great. We deduct a point, because the bus tour did not leave at the specified location and we needed some time to find the new departure point and the other providers of sightseeing tours were much more often on the way.
This pass is pretty comprehensive. You get access to major sites and transportation. You save a great deal of time skipping the line. A good buy if you can't be bothered to book/purchase your own tickets to these multiple sites. A few things to consider:
1. You will receive 2 cards per adult, one per child. One card is your Roma Pass- to get you into the non-Vatican sites and for your transportation; the other is the Rome City pass-just for the Hop on/off bus and other discounts.
2. Get an extra day------ The 3-day (72 hour Roma Pass) only gets activated when you visit those non-Vatican sites (e.g. Colosseum, Castle of the Holy Angel, etc.). So in other words, if you do the Vatican first and DON\"T use your Roma Pass for the transport/metro (e.g. walk to the Vatican) you basically get 4-days out of your Turbopass experience! My family and I stayed near the Vatican, so we walked there and spent the whole day without activating our 72 Hour Roma Pass. Doing so, we saved an day of transportation to be used later!
3. Compare where you are staying to which sites you plan to visit; you might be able to just walk to these sites and may not find the transport card necessary.
4. The hop on/off bus CityRoma was much to be desired, so don't make a decision based on this option.
5. Signs for the Roma Pass holders are not very visible at some of the sites, so give yourself extra time to find the skip the line areas.
6. Dress Code for everyone- All shorts/dresses/skirts to the knee or below; shoulders/back fully covered for the Vatican or you will waste a lot of time having to get off the line to buy cover ups---- they will not let you in!!!!!

Unfortunately, we did not able to use all as we spent too much time on single attraction.
The hop-in-off bus is the excellent way to get a good view of the city.
While some of the items included with the pass were not the greatest (the hop-on, hop-off), the ship the line and the transit pass made our trip way better. People say everything is walkable in Rome, but after 65km of walking, I disagree! The transit pass saved our feet! And the skip the line saved us so much time and hassle! I do get the feeling we could have saved money by buying transit passes & attraction tickets separately, but this was easy and convenient.
The pass saves a lot of work, otherwise you do not have to worry about tickets or anything like that. Likewise, the skip the line is very practical and nerve sparing.
Well, Rome is really worth the trip! Thanks to the Rome Pass you could really shorten one or the other queue significantly. Excessive are the huge crowds ... and especially annoying the tons of street vendors, very unpleasant!
Turbopass was a lifesaver. I would definitely purchase it again. The Hop on Hop Off bus was a disappointment. We ended up never using it. Stops were few and far between. Some stops were closed.
