We booked the pass for Rome including the Vatican and Colosseum. A few minutes after ordering, the (virtual) pass was already in the e-mail inbox. Once in a version for printing and again in a reduced version for showing on the mobile phone - very practical. The list of which other sights are also included was also included. Everything worked great, the pre-reservations at the Vatican or at the Colosseum were also booked and we were able to go in without a long wait. The included hop-on-off bus trip helps you get an overview of the city. The rest of the way in Rome can be done very easily by public transport.
The pass was really great for Rome. We particularly liked the fact that we really received a very detailed list of the sights with address and opening times. That made it really easy. We were spontaneously in many museums that we would otherwise never have had on our screen.
A continuous optimal support to explore one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. My travel tips: the orange garden on the Aventine - here you have a unique view of the city. The garden is also a very popular location for wedding photos. My other tip is the Sankt Ignatius Church (near Pantheon). The supposed "dome" of this church is an artistic stroke of genius. The restaurant Museum Canova Tadolini is highly recommended. Here you have the unique opportunity to have lunch surrounded by statues. It is also worth trying the typical Roman delicacies such as supplì al telefono, maritozzi or the pizza bianca. In Trastevere or in the Jewish quarter you are well served;).
We were enthusiastic about the possibilities and how well everything worked. The addition for the airport transfer and the option to use the metro stress-free is simply great. For restaurants, we recommend using Tripadvisor. Or, just take a look at the places where they are visited and try them out bravely. The Roman cuisine is
We really liked the Rome City Pass. We were there for 6 days in September 2021 and used the pass for 5 days. At first we had booked an airport transfer with it, but we didn't need it at short notice. We were able to cancel it quickly and easily by email and got the money refunded immediately. With the tickets everything worked out great on site. In addition to the main attractions, the "Museo Leonardo da Vinci Experience" and the "Stadio di Domiziano Piazza Navona Underground" are particularly recommended. For the Castel Sant'Angelo you had to reserve the ticket in Rome at one of the tourist stations, which we first had to look for, but since we were walking a lot anyway, that was not a problem. The hop-on-hop-off city tour was fine, but the audio narration was on the one hand too little and on the other hand it hadn't always matched the stops / aspirations.
Extensive offers for every taste and suggestions that we would not have found without the pass. We would not have been able to take public transport to the sea and detour to Ostia without this pass, as we had little time for orientation. But luckily everything was well described. Be sure to visit the Leonardo da Vinci Museum. Great thing.

In itself we were satisfied with the pass. It would be practical if you didn't have to redeem the ticket first at Castel Sant'Angelo. For the other sights, this also works very well with the Qr code from the app. (Ticket office is opposite the entrance at the Vatican) We will certainly use the pass again on our next city trip.
We booked the City Pass for 3 days and not only saved time and probably money, but also visited attractions that we would not have done that way - and to be honest, they were really really good :)! We recommend !

For us, the turbo pass was very worthwhile, we were able to visit all the important tourist spots in Rome easily and without complications.
From personal experience I can highly recommend the Rome City Pass. I used almost everything it has to offer like airport transfer, public transport, entrance to Colosseum and entrance to Vatican Museums. I also used the one day hop-on-hop-off bus although it was a bit hard to find the stop at the Colosseum but finally I managed to do so. I also used the free entrance to Castel Sant’Angelo which I can highly recommend. To get your ticket you have to go to the Rome Tourist Office close to the Vatican Museums. There they can make a reservation for you which can’t be on the same day.
If you are new to Rome, the Rome City Pass is a good thing. You can book the most important seats in advance and have many options that are already included in the pass. The price-performance ratio is good. The City Bus ride is free, you can do everything on foot and see even more. I can recommend the pass.
