The Rome City Pass is worthwhile in any case! We had 3 days option and stayed 5 days in Rome. Vatican Museums, the Colosseum, Castel Sant'Angelo, Italian National Museum, city tours and much more, everything was fine and everything without large queues. We would buy the pass again.
Visiting the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel without waiting in the heat was really good. It saved precious time we could then spend inside
The Turbo Pass is a fantastic device. Our stay in Rome was wonderful and we can see a lot of things. Especially the sightseeing tour by double-decker bus was terrific.
I was able to book all the activities I wanted, and the explanations provided were clear for the most part. Except for the Vatican, where the staff was almost unpleasant, the waiting time was very reasonable, and in some places, there was welcome generosity in terms of timing... like at the Colosseum.
We were very satisfied with the Turbopass. Everything worked perfectly: no lines, no waiting. I definitely recommend it! The only thing that needs to be improved is making it work as an app.
The pass itself is a good thing, but in the Roman Forum, we still had to wait in line for 30 minutes, even with a ticket. Vatican Museum & Colosseum: Time slots are strictly adhered to, so arriving early isn't worth it. What bothered us was that for some sights, you always had to go to the tourist information office first, pick up a ticket, and then be allowed in. This made spontaneous visits impossible. In our opinion, you can skip the hop-on tour. You can get from point A to point B faster by taking the subway, or you can walk. This way, you don't have to wait 30 minutes for the bus only to be told, "Unfortunately, this bus is too full and you'll have to wait another 30 minutes."
Definitely good package offered. Easy navigable website. Speedy response to my email questions.
All of the booked entrance tickets worked smoothly, with no waiting times. All of the other attractions were also easy to visit with the pass. Unfortunately, the airport shuttle only has a limited number of stops. If the hotel you booked isn't near one of the stops, you'll have to take a taxi separately. You can get a ride from the airport to the hotel for a flat rate of €55 (the same for all taxis). It also takes a lot of time to find a stop for the hop-on hop-off bus, which you can also use. There are at least eight different companies. Otherwise, the pass was great; we would do it again anytime.
Unfortunately a bit complicated first to exchange the tickets and then entrance tickets and airport transfer would have been good with the train but the email service was very good
Our 6-day stay in Rome went very well. We enjoyed all the visits that our planes scheduled with Turbopass. We were amazed at every moment of our trip by the so many emotions we felt each time we walked or visited. The guides we met made us love Rome and its history, its monuments. The only downside that could have spoiled our stay was that we were unable to find the Iobus agency to exchange our public transport ticket for our tickets for our stay. We thought we were going to have a very bad vacation. In the end, we bought tickets for a week directly at the Atac office. It cost us the first visit to plan, but it was quickly forgotten by our stay, which delighted us on every level.
Generally recommended, but unfortunately, some entrance fees aren't included, such as the exhibition in the Roman Forum, the tour of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, the Colosseum basement, etc. If admission is already included in the pass, then please include it in the entirety. Otherwise, everything was fine; I got past the queues quickly.
All the bookings worked out and so did the time slots. Most of us arrived a little early, but there were hardly any queues for us. All in all, I really recommend it!
Good investment to travel with the Turbo Pass, made things a lot easier with the hop on hop off bus for orientation, otherwise you can get around well with the metro. We visited Castel Sant'Angelo, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, St. Peter's Basilica, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Navona and Fiori. The Tonarelli restaurant is highly recommended, very friendly, young, committed staff, TOP food, TOP service, expect a bit of a wait time but it's definitely worth it.
This pass is a great thing. Everything worked out. I would have one more thing. With the hop on hop off we had a really hard time finding the stations. Otherwise, the entrance fees etc. were all super perfect
The Rome turbopass was quite handy and helpful. I got quick entries everywhere. However, the turbopass does not include charges for audioguides which I had to pay in addition to whatever I had paid for turbopass. Audioguides are not available for Palatine hills and forum if you enter from Palatine hills gate. The weird thing was that the pass for Palatine hills and roman forum was valid for 24 hours but you can enter only once and have to finish in that day. Although the guide was great, the walking tour was quite short and would have included a few more sites in the city.
Essential for certain visits like the Colosseum...... it would be nice to add certain museums like the Capitoline or Borghese museums...
There are really a lot of attractions included. But you should read carefully.
