Your way from the airport to the city: reliable transfer in Rome

Book the optional Rome airport transfer to your Rome City Pass and start your relaxing holiday in Rome. With the shuttle bus SIT you can easily get from Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci Airport)and Ciampino (Aeroporto di Roma-Ciampino “Giovan Battista Pastine”) to the center of Rome. The return journey from the city center back to the airport is of course also included in your Rome City Pass.

The Rome airport transfer is not tied to the validity period of your Rome City Pass. With the airport transfer ticket, you can arrive in Rome earlier, as well as depart flexibly after using your pass.You will receive your airport transfer ticket with your Rome City Pass by e-mail. You can either print this out or simply show the code on your smartphone. 

Note: Please check the journey times before booking your airport transfer to ensure that they fit to your flight times.

From and to Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci Airport): In the arrival terminal, turn right towards Terminal 3. The shuttle bus departs from bus stop no. 12 "SIT Bus Shuttle". Please show the voucher code you received by e-mail and enjoy a relaxing trip to the center of Rome (Termini). 

From and to Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci Airport) the following stops will be served by the shuttle bus: Fiumicino City, Fiumicino Airport, Aurelia Street, Vatican and finally Rome Central Station (Termini). 

Departures from the airport are 8:30 am, 9:05 am, 9:40 am, 10:40 am, 1:30 pm. 3:30pm, 5:20pm, 7:40pm, 8:30pm, 9pm and 9:55pm.
From Rome Central Station (Termini), the bus departs at 4:45am, 6:15am, 7:15 am, 9:10am, 10:15am, 11:40am, 1:35pm, 3:45pm, 5:05pm, 5:50pm, 6:20pm and 8pm.

Each bus has free WIFI on board and usually departs every 60 minutes. SITBus recommends arriving at the bus stop at least 15 minutes before departure (round trip).

From and to Ciampino (Aeroporto di Roma-Ciampino "Giovan Battista Pastine"): The shuttle bus departs from the stop n. 2 "SIT Bus Shuttle". Please show the voucher code you received by email and enjoy a relaxing trip to the center of Rome (Termini). 

From and to Ciampino Airport (Aeroporto di Roma-Ciampino "Giovan Battista Pastine") the following stops will be served by the shuttle bus: Ciampino city (Via Luigi Einaudi, Leroy Merlin) and Rome Central Station (Termini). 

Departures from the airport are 8:30am, 9:20am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:35pm, 4:30pm, 5pm, 7pm, 9pm, 10:15pm and 11pm..
From Rome Central Station (Termini), the bus departs at 4:30am, 5:30am, 7:30am, 8:30am 11:20am, 1pm, 2pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

Each bus has free WIFI on board and currently departs once an hour. SITBus recommends to be at the bus stop at least 15 minutes before departure (round trip). 

Children up to 4 years of age travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult if they do not need their own seat. We do not offer a ticket for children under 6 years of age, as the Rome City Pass is only required for children over 6 years of age. If you are asked to buy a ticket for your child under the age of six on the bus, please contact the driver or friendly staff on the bus.
