According to the pass package, the vouchers could be redeemed at all facilities without any problems. Most of the time, the institutions were given the QR code that they scanned. It's a shame that entry to St. Mark's Basilica and the tower on St. Mark's Square are not included in the package. Otherwise I would have loved to give all 6 stars.
Unfortunately, the office in Venice no longer exists and the address where it moved was not known to anyone, including the locals. Unfortunately, not all advantages can be used with the pass as described. The churches all have to be paid extra. Otherwise, the pass is worth it alone if you want to take the public one more often. The gondola ride was very short but still great. The other sights (Doge's Palace, St. Mark's Basilica) are also highly recommended. The island tour was also an experience.
the pass gives you access to many promotions and you can also save a bit of money. But the combination with airport transfer is not optional and only from Marco Polo.
For us, the pass covered pretty much everything that you can see on a long weekend, even with a child. So the pass gave us the program - very practical. We liked it very much

We had the starter pass with local traffic. If you want to visit only a few museums then the starter pass is sufficient. A bit impractical is the paper economy. Card with QR code would be better. Could you then put in your wallet like the vaporetto ticket. Unfortunately, we did not find the counter for the Grand Canal tour. Maybe we were too dumb too. Then did the tour with the line 1 of the vaporetto. I think it's good to be able to use the passport the whole day you are in Venice. Then you have no stress. I would book the Venice City Pass again
If you plan a longer stay in Venice with many visits then it pays off already. For a short trip I would not recommend him. The public transport ticket was also very helpful. But you can also get seperat suburb itself. The included bus transfer from the airport to Venice and back is fine. As I said, for a longer stay yes, for a short trip rather no.
My biggest complaint with this city pass is having to go to different places to pick up the various passes. Trying to pick up the Chorus Church pass was ridicules. We were given three different churches where we could pick it up and we had to go to all three before we found one with a ticket window open. The Vaporetto pass is worth every penny as we used it extensively. The museum pass was obtained fairly easily at the Doges Palace.
The value for money is questionable. Fewer offers and cheaper, that would be appropriate.
Turbo pass is the best way to enjoy the beauty and explore the history of Venice
A useful pass for Venice. We had the CLASSIC pass and loved the gondola ride and tour of the Opera house. We found it helpful to go onto the Turbopass website and read the detailed instructions before each visit - seeing the times of the gondola rides for example, and where to book in at the travel agents beforehand (their allocation fills up, so it is worth doing in advance). At the Doge’s Palace use the prepaid queue and once inside look for the kiosk labelled something like ‘solo group bookings’ to get your ticket. It saves a lot of waiting in the hot sun. The prepaid airport shuttle bus was great. Look out for the big white bus with ‘airport bus Venice - Marco Polo’ which is clearly marked on the side.
As our gondolier was not a singer, one passenger played ‘ a sol da meia’ on her phone which added to the atmosphere! Generally going to attractions as they open, early in the day, avoids the worst of the crowds and heat. We stayed on the Lido, which is quieter and has some good restaurants especially Grand Viale. Our 3rd visit to Venice. We would use the Turbo Pass again.
The entrance with the Turbopass almost without exception worked! Only in a church, which was advertised as included in the turbo pass, we were charged the entrance fee. Since we were only running for the church for almost three quarters of an hour, we paid the price of 7 € per person. Whether it was wrong advertised, what has changed in the meantime or the guy in the ticket office was just unfriendly to us I can not say. At other attractions everything worked wonderfully. I would buy the turbo pass again, if you want to participate in a city trip as much as possible!
Unfortunately, you can not use the tickets for local transport on any day during the validity of the pass. Therefore we could not book this.

Unfortunately we found it complicated because there was no map as usual. We used our printed DinA 4 slip for everything. that could have been said before because the places where we supposedly should have gotten a passport as the museums did not exist. All in all a great holiday.
We totally used our City Pass in Venice and it not only made entrances easier (skipped the lines waiting for tickets) but saved us some money. We appreciated having a shuttle from Marco Polo airport to the island, a choice of boat rides (gondola or canal tour), loved seeing the Doge (had to pay extra for the private apartment), and liked the Duomo but had to pay extra for the upper level and balconies. I would have appreciated having the extras included also.
Our suggestion is when the shuttle drops you at Piazza Roma you should pay a porter to cart your luggage to your apartment or hotel. The bridges make it very difficult to take 50# suitcases over the steps and it was only 15 euros.
Public transport ticket is worthwhile! It's fun to chug back and forth on the canal. Airport transfer is clever - these two points would also be easy to book suburb. The gondola ride was too six, but it was nice, it is definitely worth it (so we booked the Classic ticket) The tour to the islands of Murano / Burano etc. is also recommended. From the museums we were only in the da Vinci Museum and in the Markus Church - there was a Skip-the-Line Line, despite the "Skip the Line" ticket, so did not really bring anything - so there was no big savings but we had a common thread with optional attractions and maybe we have but the whole small museums also supported, then it would be OK;)
This was quite handy, as I used the water buses a lot and it was nice to have prepaid entrance for the big attractions. Overall, I would say it was a fair deal and since money is time, it was worth it for the convenience alone.

We were sent 8x from switch to switch until we were at the kiosk where we were already einml dan suddenly but got the city pass. Ridiculous. But this could not cloud us the beautiful days in Venice.
