We really enjoyed the 5 days in Munich with the discounts and inclusive local transport. The city is worth the trip and the discounts are a nice bonus. In addition, it is very stress-free not to have to constantly take single or day tickets. And in a metropolis like Munich you are better off with local transport than with any car. And Munich itself is of course absolutely worth a trip. It takes at least 2 days to search the German Museum completely. But Munich also has a lot to offer in every other respect. Be it architecturally, culturally, sportily or gastronomically.
From the moment you arrive at the airport and have your Munchen card, the world is your oyster. The train service is fantastic, clean trains that run on time and are so silent you think your on a floating train. My wife and I had a great visit to the lovely city of Munich for the Christmas markets. We cannot fault anything about our trip.
We have no hesitation in highly recommending this card.
Everything went great. The activation went smoothly and for the price a short trip is worthwhile.
Absolutely recommended for families in their stay in Munich
Super easy to book from home. The list of benefits can also be used as a "travel guide". There were never any problems to get the cheaper price. Recommended.
Great price for a week pass plus discounts in all the museums I've visited.
Bad is the excessive cancellation fee which is partly higher than the actual price.
We were able to use the Munich Card for 3 days all means of transport in the inner city area. The benefits (entrances in the Iberl Theater and the town hall) cost the money. Thank you for this useful device.
Must Buy if you are in Munich for a day or more.. Very Pocket friendly for travel within the Munich City.
We have used the MunichCard for the second time. Optimal for the MVV. Furthermore, we have used the discounts z. B. for the Olympiaturm sa photo. The next time we will definitely buy the MünchenCard again
Actually, only the new car should be picked up, but then a short-term 3-day Munich event out ... Thanks to the Munich Card were public transport (MVV) and many tourists attractions with price advantage to enjoy. Since we had also dream weather (white blue sky), a break on the Viktualien market, a break in the beer garden at the Chinese tower, a visit to the Olympia tower, the city core, the sausage heart and and and ..... were worthwhile in short - we'll be back to Munich again!
With the Munich Card I could easily get to all sights of the city by subway, tram and bus, such as the Olympic Park, Allianz Arena, Residenzschloss, Marienplatz or Lake Starnberg. Incidentally, I also could save at many museums, restaurants and the city tour. A wonderful opportunity to explore the city.
I used the card mainly to take public transportation. I found it very useful.
Touristic cards sometimes have the "charm" of wanting to earn a lot of money, so that a more intense consideration worthwhile. By contrast, the MünchenCard is hardly more expensive than a normal MVV day pass (based on a 2-day ticket for me), so you can make a good purchase. For a day I find the map less attractive, but from 2 days you can certainly save. Important, you have to prepare in advance a small but realistic plan and be clear about what you want to see, then the MünchenCard is a good decision.
Transport is efficient and discounts attractive.
We have already bought and printed the Munich Card online at home. As a result, we were able to use the public transport carefree immediately after arrival in Munich. Furthermore, we have also taken some discounts on entries. Highly recommended is the German Museum, but you should spend a few hours off, as it is simply gigantic. We also took a tour of the Old Town through Munich and discovered the secret places of the old town. On our next trip to Munich, the Munich Card is back in the baggage!
