A very special exhibition and a very special opportunity for every art enthusiast

The collaboration between Galleria Borghese and Palazzo Barberini has been extended until 27 October 2024. The Palazzo will host fifty works from the Galleria Borghese in the South Wing of the piano Nobile.

This initiative is a unique opportunity to bring together two collections that share a similar history, linked to two crucial figures in 17th century Roman political and cultural life, Maffeo Barberini and Scipione Borghese, in an ideal historical and cultural, and not least, geographical proximity. Absolute masterpieces will therefore be on display, some of which we will mention: Antonello da Messina's Portrait of a Man, Giovanni Bellini's Madonna with Child, St. John and Angels by Sandro Botticelli, Raphael's Portrait of a Young Woman with Unicorn, Peter Paul Rubens' Susanna and the Old Men, Titian's Sacred Love and Profane Love, and Paolo Veronese's Preaching of the Baptist.
