Efficient travel in Venice: public transport is included in your Venice City Pass

If you choose to add the optional public transportation ticket, you can conveniently explore the city. You will have unlimited access to buses, trams, and Vaporettos (water buses). This ticket allows you to quickly and easily reach various attractions in Venice. You can optionally add the public transportation ticket for 1 to 7 days and receive a pickup voucher along with your Venice City Pass, which you can redeem at various pickup locations. The tickets are valid from the moment they are validated for precisely:

for the 1-day Venice Pass you get a day ticket (24h) for public transport,
for the 2-day Venice Pass you get a 2-day ticket (48h) for public transport,
for the 3-day Venice Pass you get a 3-day ticket (72h) for public transport,
for the 4-5-6-7-day Venice Pass you get a 7-day ticket (168h) for public transport.

With the optional public transportation ticket, you can make the following journeys:

Bus, tram, and Vaporettos within Venice Trips to Lido di Venezia

Journeys from Punta Sabbioni to Venice and back

Trips to Murano, Burano, and Torcello using the Vaporetto (all lines within Venice)

Bus and tram rides to and from Mestre (excluding line 5)

Bus line 11

Please note that the public transportation ticket is not valid for airport transfers.

The Vaporettos operate from 6:00 AM until midnight, with some night lines available as well.

The Vaporetto Linea N, with stops at Piazzale Roma, Santa Lucia train station, S. Zaccaria, Canale Giudecca, Canal Grande, and Lido S.M.E., runs every 30 minutes during the night.

Vaporetto Line 1 is ideal for crossing the Canal Grande, serving nearly every stop along the Canal Grande between Piazzale Roma and Lido.

Vaporetto Line 2 follows a similar route but does not make stops at all of the same stations.
