The pick-up point in Rome is located directly at the Central Station: "Trips To Rome" Piazza dei Cinquecento (Termini Station/ Central Station) 51, 00185 in Rome (corner Via Cavour and Via Giovanni Giolitti, the pick-up point is a kiosk and is opposite a pharmacy).
To buy a ticket for the local transport in Rome is also easy and cheap. Local transport tickets can be purchased easily and quickly at the official Atac ticket offices (Biglietterie Atac) or kiosks. You can also buy your ticket online on the official Atac website (https://www.atac.roma.it/en/home).
The public transport system in Rome consists of bus, Rome Metro, tram, regional and suburban trains. The operator of the network is ATAC Roma. With the Rome public transport ticket you can easily reach all Rome sights and even go to the sea to Lido in Ostia for free.
If you buy a Rome public transport ticket at ATAC you will get around Rome relaxed and fast. Simply validate your ticket at one of the ticket machines before your first trip and off you go on your discovery tour.
The ticket for all public transport (ATAC) is valid for metro, tram, bus (from ATAC) and even on some regional trains (Trenitalia 2nd class, Rome-Lido, Rome-Viterbo and Rome-Giardinetti). The following in Rome public transport in the city center area can be used with the local ticket:
All public transport services runs Sunday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 11:30 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays you can use public transport even until 0:30. Night buses run regularly at night. These buses depart with 23 routes downtown and small suburbs.
The only station where you can change between train and metro is Termini station. Local transport tickets are not valid for the transfer from/to the airports. You can optionally book the airport transfer with your Rome City Pass. The Rome metro currently consists of 3 lines that will take you quickly from A to B in Rome:

BIT ticket (€ 1,50) valid for 100 minutes from the first validation for a single trip on the metro, also when changing between different lines, but do not leave the turnstile to do so.
ROMA 24H (€ 7,00) / ROMA 48H (€ 12,50) / ROMA 72H (€ 18,00) valid for unlimited travel within the city of Rome, from the first validation for the number of hours indicated on the ticket.
CIS ticket (€ 24.00) valid for 7 days, until midnight of the seventh day from the day of validation, for unlimited travel within the city of Rome. Name and period of validity must be written on the ticket.
Validity of the local transport ticket: Before starting your journey, you must validate the local transport ticket at a stamp machine in order to be able to use the Rome Metro free of charge, among other things.
Go to the sea: If you want to take a little break from downtown Rome, you can easily take one of the suburban trains to Ostia, the port city of ancient Rome.
