The church was built in 1492 and currently has two different styles of facades. Monday to Saturday: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM

The last entry to the church is at 4:20 PM. Chiesa di Santa Maria Formosa is closed on Sundays, as well as on January 1st, Easter, August 15th, and December 25th.
