Once you enter the Neuschwanstein, you automatically dive into a fairytale world. The marvellous and aesthetical castle Neuschwanstein is surrounded by a breathtaking natural landscape and located at the foot of the alps.
The tour guide accompanies you on the train from and to Munich und takes you up to the Schlossberg, from where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of glittering lakes and valleys. Not only the castle, but also its beautiful surrounding is definitely worth the trip.
You will also explore the inside of the castle together with the tour guide. Here, you save time by being entitled to use a separate queue for the guided tour.
Learn more about the exciting history of King Ludwig’s empire and receive background information and the reasons regarding the construction and destruction of the castle.
In addition, you will get to see the scenic lookouts with the tour guide, which provides a perfect view toward the neighbouring Hohenschwangau castle.

Duration: approx. 9 hours 

For the entrance there is an addiotnal fee of 18 € per adult, to be paid at our tour office when checking in for the tour.

The mentioned times refer to the begin of the tour. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour. 

Please note that you have to walk about 20 minutes uphill. In case you don’t want or not able to walk uphill, you can also take the bus or horse-drawn carriage. However, even if you make use of these alternatives, there is still a little walking required. Moreover, the availability may be limited during rush hours.
